Norrköping es una ciudad de Suecia, situada en la provincia de Östergötland. Es la capital del municipio de Norrköping.
Es una ciudad industrial que prosperó gracias a la energía que se obtenía del río Motala y a su puerto en el golfo Bråviken, un golfo del mar Báltico. A finales del siglo XX se vio muy afectada por el cierre de gran parte de sus actividades, lo que ocasionó un fuerte paro. Norrköping sigue viviendo de la industria textil, química, de la fabricación de papel, de material eléctrico y de los muebles, y ha conseguido revitalizarse apostando por la cultura y la enseñanza , favoreciendo además la instalación de un parque industrial puntero en altas tecnologías.
