Kvidinge es una localidad situada en el municipio de Åstorp, en la provincia de Skåne, Suecia, con 1,854 habitantes en 2010.
Es famosa como el lugar de muerte de Charles August, Príncipe Heredero de Suecia, en 1810. El Príncipe Heredero estaba inspeccionando las tropas del Regimiento de Húsares de Escania en su campo de entrenamiento Kvidinge Heath en Kvidinge cuando un mareo le causó caer de su caballo, donde murió de un ataque al corazón. El Príncipe Heredero Charles John propuso que se erigiera un memorial por el incidente. El arquitecto de la ciudad, Carl Christoffer Gjörwell, fue encargado de diseñar el monumento, que se completó en 1826.
