Dawson's Creek es una serie de televisión de drama adolescente estadounidense sobre la vida ficticia de un grupo de amigos muy unidos que comienza en la escuela secundaria y continúa en la universidad desde 1998 hasta 2003. La serie está protagonizada por James Van Der Beek como Dawson Leery, Katie Holmes como Joey Potter, Joshua Jackson como Pacey Witter, y Michelle Williams como Jen Lindley, en la ciudad ficticia de Capeside, Massachusetts, donde se estableció la serie. La serie fue creada por Kevin Williamson y debutó en The WB el 20 de enero de 1998. Fue producido por Columbia TriStar Television y fue filmada en Wilmington, Carolina del Norte.
Fue parte de una nueva moda para películas y programas de televisión para adolescentes en Estados Unidos a fines de la década de 1990, catapultó a sus protagonistas al estrellato y se convirtió en una serie definitoria para The WB, y se posicionó en el puesto No. 90 en Entertainment Weekly en la lista de «New TV Classics» en 2007.[1] La serie terminó el 14 de mayo de 2003.[2] Durante el curso de la serie, 128 episodios de Dawson's Creek se transmitieron durante seis temporadas.
