El condado de Erie fundado en 1800 es uno de 67 condados en el estado estadounidense de Pensilvania, siendo el único condado costero del estado. En el 2000 el condado tenía una población de 280,843 habitantes en una densidad poblacional de 135 personas por km². La sede del condado es Erie.[1]
Según la Oficina del Censo, el condado tiene un área total de 4035 km² , de la cual 2077 km² es tierra y 1958 km² es agua.
