La Biblioteca Apostólica Vaticana es la biblioteca de la Santa Sede, ubicada en Ciudad del Vaticano. Lleva el nombre de "apostólica", porque es una institución que, desde su fundación, es considerada la "Biblioteca del Papa", ya que le pertenece directamente. Es una de las más antiguas bibliotecas del mundo y custodia una muy importante colección de textos históricos.
