La Kaindlhütte est un abri de montagne géré de manière privée à une altitude de 1293 m dans les montagnes du Kaiser en Tyrol. La Kaindlhütte se situe dans la partie ouest des montagnes du Kaiser, sur l'alpage de Steinberg, au pied du Zettenkaiser, du Scheffauer et des Hackenköpfe. Au nord de la Kaindlhütte se trouvent le Gamskogel et le dos boisé du Brentenjoch. Ainsi, l'abri se trouve dans la réserve naturelle du Wilder Kaiser.
