La Hahnenkammbahn est un téléphérique à câble aérien exploité par la Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel, ouvert à l'origine en 1928 à Kitzbühel, dans le land du Tyrol en Autriche. Les premières descentes de ski documentées furent réalisées par Franz Reisch en 1892 au Kitzbühler Horn. Afin de promouvoir le ski dans les Alpes de Kitzbühel pour le tourisme, une commission fut chargée en 1924 de l'élaboration d'un projet de téléphérique vers le Hahnenkamm. La construction débuta au printemps 1926. Elle a été conçue selon le système de l'ingénieur Anton Visnicka de Meran, et le directeur de construction fut l'ingénieur de téléphérique Georg Wallmannsberger. La réalisation architecturale des deux bâtiments de stations fut réalisée par Alfons Walde. Les supports et structures en acier furent fournis par l'usine de wagons et de machines de Simmering à Vienne.
