Le monastère de Maria Luggau à Maria Luggau dans la commune de Lesachtal est adjacent au sanctuaire de Maria Schnee au nord.
En 1591, les franciscains fondèrent une mission à Maria Luggau. En 1593, la première pierre du bâtiment monastique fut posée. Dès 1628, les franciscains furent rappelés de Maria Luggau. En 1635, l’église, le monastère et la paroisse furent remis aux Servites. En 1640, un incendie détruisit le monastère, le toit de l'église et le dernier étage de la tour. Entre 1640 et 1661, le monastère fut reconstruit. Un autre incendie détruisit en 1738 une extension en cours, le toit de l'église et le niveau des cloches de la tour. Le renouvellement considérable du monastère fut achevé en 1741.
