La forêt s’étend sur environ 80 hectares et se trouve en grande partie sur le territoire de Meldert et en partie sur le territoire de Mazenzele et d’Asse, plus précisément dans le hameau d’Asse-ter-Heide. La forêt est en grande partie privée ; une plus petite partie est entre les mains de l’Agence pour la nature et les forêts. Vous pouvez explorer la forêt via le réseau de randonnée et il y a aussi trois boucles de randonnée (jaune 3,2 km, rouge 4,2 km et bleue 3,8 km) qui vous permettent d’explorer la forêt et le paysage voisin. www.natuurenbos.be/kravaalbos
