Der Wald ist etwa 80 ha groß, der überwiegende Teil liegt auf dem Gebiet von Meldert und ein Teil auf dem Gebiet von Mazenzele und Asse, genauer gesagt im Weiler Asse-ter-Heide. Der Wald ist größtenteils Privatbesitz; ein kleinerer Teil gehört der Agentur für Natur und Wald. Über das Wandernetzwerk kannst du den Wald erkunden und es gibt auch drei Wanderungen (gelb 3,2 km, rot 4,2 km und blau 3,8 km), die es dir ermöglichen, den Wald und die umliegende Landschaft zu erkunden. www.natuurenbos.be/kravaalbos
