Arc de triomphe
La construction la plus remarquable du parc est l'arc de triomphe, achevé en 1905. Le premier architecte, nommé par le roi Léopold II, était l'architecte belge Gédéon Bordiau. Après son décès, le roi confia le projet à l'architecte français Charles Girault.
Le monument se compose de trois arcs égaux avec au-dessus de l'arc central une statue en bronze représentant le Brabant sur un char tiré par quatre chevaux. Au pied de l'arc de triomphe, on trouve de chaque côté au total huit statues représentant les autres provinces. (La Belgique avait au total 9 provinces lorsque l'arc de triomphe a été construit. Les réformes de l'État ont changé cela.) Les statues ont été réalisées par Thomas Vinçotte, Jef Lambeaux, Charles Van der Stappen, Albert Desenfans et Guillaume De Groot.
