Sur la place de la Pierre, un noyer monumental projette son ombre et près de cet arbre se trouve la Pierre d’Août, un énorme bloc de pudding en pierre, sculpté par les villageois et traîné ici en août 1982, à la manière de leurs lointains ancêtres. La place spacieuse, un ancien cimetière, est bordée par un certain nombre de bâtiments, dont certains valent vraiment le détour.
