Le bâtiment d'angle avec deux arbres juste devant vous est le Parlement flamand, dans l'ancienne Hôtel des Postes et de la Marine (1905). Le bâtiment est resté jusqu'en 1987 le siège principal de La Poste, jusqu'à ce que le Conseil flamand l'achète. En 1996, une lourde rénovation a eu lieu, conservant la structure principale et quelques espaces marquants. La cour a été transformée en hémicycle et recouverte à l'origine d'une construction en verre.
→ Suivez la rue Hertog à droite du Parlement flamand jusqu'à la Leuvenseweg, l'une des plus anciennes rues de ce quartier. Tournez à droite et à la fin à gauche, jusqu'à l'intersection avec la Petite Ceinture.
