L'edificio angolare con due alberi proprio di fronte a te è il Parlamento Fiammingo, nell'ex Hôtel des Postes et de la Marine (1905). L'edificio rimase fino al 1987 la sede principale di De Post, fino a quando il Consiglio Fiammingo lo acquistò. Nel 1996 seguì una grande ristrutturazione, durante la quale furono conservati la struttura principale e alcuni spazi distintivi. Il cortile è stato trasformato in forma semicircolare e originariamente coperto con una struttura di vetro.
