The corner building with two trees directly in front of you is the Flemish Parliament, in the former Hôtel des Postes et de la Marine (1905). The building remained the headquarters of De Post until 1987, when the Flemish Council purchased it. In 1996, a major renovation took place, preserving the main structure and several notable spaces. The courtyard was transformed into a semi-circular shape and originally covered with a glass structure.
→ Follow Hertogstraat to the right of the Flemish Parliament until you reach Leuvenseweg, one of the oldest streets in this area. Turn right and at the end, turn left, until you reach the intersection with the Kleine Ring.
