Vosselare Put est un ancien bras de la Lys qui est apparu vers 1861 lorsque la Lys a été canalisée sur une distance de 500 mètres et que le sas d'Astene a été construit. Tout le monde peut venir nager et se recreer dans ce coin unique de nature à Deinze. Par temps de canicule, jeunes et vieux viennent y chercher du rafraîchissement dans cette eau de baignade homologuée. En hiver, on peut y voir des ours polaires et par grand froid, ce plan d'eau se transforme en une immense patinoire !
