Vosselare Put is an old arm of the Leie that was formed around 1861 when the Leie was channeled over a distance of 500m and the Astene lock was built. Everyone can come swim and recreate in this unique piece of nature in Deinze. On scorching hot days, young and old come to seek coolness in the approved swimming water. In winter, you can see ice swimmers, and during severe frost, this water basin transforms into a massive ice rink!
