Juste à l’extérieur du village de Zandvoorde se trouve un bunker de commandement allemand datant de 1916. Le bunker dispose de 6 chambres et 2 accès. Le bunker servait de liaison entre la ligne de front à Hollebeke et le quartier général à Komen. Dans le Musée commémoratif Passchendaele 1917, vous pouvez voir un modèle, ainsi que des objets qui ont été trouvés lors de la restauration.
