La Glanerie est une section de la commune belge de Rumes située en Wallonie picarde et en Flandre romane dans la province de Hainaut. C'était une commune à part entière avant la fusion des communes de 1977.La Glanerie, primitivement appelé « Glanderie », faisait partie intégrante de la seigneurie de Rumes et est resté, jusqu'en 1888, un hameau de Rumes. La Glanerie est érigé en commune par arrêté Royal le 04 août 1888.
