Hennuyères est un village de la ville belge de Braine-le-Comte située en région wallonne dans la province de Hainaut. Le toponyme n’a rien à voir avec le Hainaut, qui est lié à la rivière Haine. Il se rapprocherait , plutôt de Wiers ou de Wiheries. Ce n’est en effet qu’à la fin de l’ancien Régime que la terre d’Hennuyères quitta le Brabant pour le Hainaut. C'était donc une commune à part entière avant la fusion des communes de 1977.
