Au-delà du pont du chemin de fer, pénétrez dans le PARC JOSAPHAT, espace verdoyant aménagé par Edmond Galoppin en 1904. Ancienne propriété privée, ce jardin à l’anglaise doit son nom à sa ressemblance avec la vallée Josaphat en Palestine. Avec pour arrière plan l’enfilade des maisons de l’avenue des Azalées, la promenade en direction des étangs est jalonnée de différentes sculptures (voir circuit 6). Lieu propice au calme et à la promenade, le parc Josaphat se révèle aussi accueillant pour les enfants : un espace de jeu leur est réservé non loin de l’enclos aux ânes.
