Dans le quartier d’Annoven à Schorisse se trouve un curieux joyau religieux : huit chapelles au milieu d’un jardin botanique luxuriant. Les huit chapelles ont été construites en 1901 dans un style néo-gothique à l’initiative d’un résident, en remerciement de la guérison d’une maladie grave. Il y a une plus grande chapelle dédiée à Notre-Dame des Sept Malheurs, autour de laquelle il y a sept petites chapelles en briques en forme d’ellipse.
En 1997, les chapelles et le site ont été protégés en raison de leur valeur culturelle et folklorique.
