Le musée de la céramique de Torhout est situé dans le château fortifié du Ravenhof, au milieu d'un enchanteur jardin paysager anglais. Grâce à son emplacement idéal, ce site symbolise l'histoire de Torhout. Ce château, encore partiellement meublé avec du mobilier authentique et des tapisseries, abrite également la Chambre de la Guilde Municipale, où sont exposées les plaques d'honneur préservées depuis des siècles de la guilde des arbalétriers Saint-Sébastien (fondée en 1384).
