Het museum Torhouts Aardewerk is ondergebracht in het omwalde kasteel Ravenhof, temidden een betoverende Engelse landschapstuin. Door zijn ideale ligging staat deze site symbool voor de geschiedenis van Torhout. Dit nog gedeeltelijke met authentiek meubilair en wandtapijten ingericht kasteel herbergt eveneens de Stedelijke Gildekamer, waarin de sinds eeuwen bewaarde ereplatelen van de handbooggild Sint-Sebastiaan (opgericht in 1384) worden tentoongesteld.
