Le couvent des Frères Mineurs est un couvent situé à Rekem, plus précisément dans le noyau historique d'Oud-Rekem, qui a existé de 1707 à 1797 et de 1847 à 2004. Il est situé près de Saint Pierre. En 1675, le comte Maximilien François Gobert D'Aspremont-Lynden, également connu sous le nom de François Gobert, seigneur de la principauté impériale libre de Rekem, fit une première tentative pour attirer les Frères Mineurs. Comme les négociations avec les Frères Mineurs n'avançaient pas, il se tourna vers l'ordre des Carmes. Ceux-ci s'établirent à Rekem en 1679.
