En 1990, lors d’un redressement d’un coude, un îlot de 36 hectares est créé entre deux bras de la Lys. Il sera aménagé comme un parc paysager, avec des sentiers, une promenade à travers un marais, des aires de repos, des surfaces en pente et des escaliers. L’endroit idéal pour se promener, faire du jogging ou tout simplement prendre une bière sur la terrasse de la cafétéria. Vous pouvez passer la nuit dans l’une des deux cabanes de randonneurs ou sur l’aire de camping-car.
