Cette crête près du quartier du désert est située entre le triangle Ninove-Gooik-Eizeringen. Les crêtes les plus hautes sont à 90m au-dessus du niveau de la mer. De nombreux ruisseaux prennent leur source ici sur cette crête. Ils se diluent tous jusqu’à la Dendre. Le bord ouest de la crête est couvert de forêts telles que Neigembos et Berchembos.
