Situé dans un parc avec un rempart conservé. Ancienne ferme transformée en petit château en 1874 (W. Van Hoof) ou en 1877 (P. Diriken), donnée en 1900 à l'administration des pauvres de la commune comme maison de retraite, le bien a cependant été vendu en 1903 et avec le produit de la vente, la maison de retraite a été fondée en 1908 dans la rue Wilson. Détruit pendant la Première Guerre mondiale et ensuite reconstruit et modifié plusieurs fois, apparemment en conservant les fondations de l'ancien château.
