Le palais du Midi est situé à Bruxelles. Il a été édifié au boulevard Maurice Lemonnier - ancien boulevard du Hainaut - entre 1875 et 1880 par la Compagnie générale des Marchés pour stimuler l’activité commerciale de cette portion des boulevards du centre, jugée moins prestigieuse. Ceux-ci ont été aménagés sur le voûtement de la Senne, réalisé entre 1867 et 1872 sous l'égide du bourgmestre de Bruxelles, Jules Anspach.
