Le Château Sarolea est un château situé à Cheratte, à l’angle de la rue de Visé et de la rue Césaro à Cheratte-bas.
Il a été construit en 1643 par Gilles de Sarolea et habité par la famille De Sarolea au cours des siècles suivants. Alors que Gilles, seigneur de Cheratte, s’occupait déjà de l’exploitation du charbon, l’exploitation minière à plus grande échelle commença en 1850, aboutissant à la mine de charbon de Hasard. Après 1905, le château a également été utilisé à cette fin, notamment comme résidence du directeur. Après cela, il est tombé en ruine.
