Le Tir de Marcinelle, ancien stand de tir, est l'un des lieux de mémoire les plus marquants de Charleroi, chargé d'émotion et d'histoire puisqu'il a été témoin de la mort d'environ 50 personnes, fusillées par les nazis pendant l'occupation. Parmis eux, le major Servais, le commandant Massart, le lieutenant Evrard et d'autres héros dont le nom nous est inconnu.
