Le stade de foot Bosuil est depuis toujours le port d’attache du club de foot Antwerp FC. Le lieu a accueilli jusqu’à 60.000 supporters. Outre les compétitions nationales, se jouèrent ici pendant des années des matchs légendaires entre la Belgique et les Pays-Bas.
Fan du foot ou pas, impossible d’ignorer le stade quand on est à Deurne-Noord car il contribue largement à l’aspect du quartier. Le Bosuil est en effet devenu un temple moderne du ballon rond. La tribune principale a été entièrement refaite en 2017 et une nouvelle tribune 4 a été livrée à l’automne 2020. Même la légendaire tribune 2, caractéristique d’un foot à l’ancienne, a cédé la place à une version hypermoderne.
