Zwartberg est un quartier de la commune de Genk dans la province belge de Limbourg.
Le lieu est nommé d'après le toponyme existant Zwarte Berg. La vue de Zwartberg est fortement déterminée par la disparue mine de charbon de Zwartberg. Zwartberg est devenu une paroisse le 3 décembre 1926.
La mine de charbon de Zwartberg s'appelait officiellement 'Société Anonyme Charbonnages des Liégeois en Campine' et a été lancée en 1910 avec du capital liégeois. L'exploitation a commencé en 1925. La mine a été fermée en 1966, ce qui a entraîné des émeutes faisant plusieurs morts.
Après la fermeture de la mine, presque tous les bâtiments et installations ont été démolis. Le terril, le bâtiment de bureaux et quelques petits bâtiments ont été conservés. Le site de la mine a été transformé en zone industrielle de Genk-Nord.
