La croix de bois dans la Kruisdreef a été placée en 1931, et est également moqueusement appelée "croix de bois contre les exhibitionnistes". En 1930, un terrain nudiste avait été construit à 50 mètres de l'intersection et selon la légende, un braconnier aurait rencontré huit femmes nues lors d'une promenade nocturne dans les bois, se serait endormi là et, en se réveillant, n'aurait rien retrouvé de son aventure nocturne. Le curé a été impressionné par son histoire et a fait installer à l'intersection la croix de Blommerschot pour chasser les "sorcières nues".
