Ce monument de M. Chaudoir, en l'honneur de l' Armée Secrète (AS) se dresse devant la mairie. Il a été inauguré en 1967 après des années de discussions.
L' insigne massif en bronze , offert par M. Fulgence Renglet (déporté en 14-18), est une véritable œuvre d'art et une pièce unique qui orne le monument où se lit "Refuge du Dauphin de l'AS Ses Morts 1940 - 1945".
