Dorf est une commune suisse du canton de Zurich, située dans le district d’Andelfingen. Le mot allemand Dorf signifie « village ».
Parce que Dorf signifie simplement village en allemand, il existe un certain nombre de Dorf dans toute la Suisse, l’Allemagne et l’Autriche. En Suisse, Dorf est la seule commune portant ce nom. Il y a un certain nombre de petits villages ou hameaux avec un nom entier de Dorf / Dorfli ou se terminant par -dorf.
