Le Piz Medel est une montagne qui s'élève à 3 210 m d'altitude dans les Alpes lépontines, à la frontière entre les cantons des Grisons et du Tessin en Suisse. C'est le sommet le plus élevé du chaînon entre le col du Lukmanier et le Crap la Crusch . La montagne domine le col de la Greina , un important passage reliant les cantons des Grisons et du Tessin.
Le côté nord du massif est couvert par un grand glacier nommé Glatscher da Medel, séparé sur sa partie inférieure en trois branches. Le massif se compose de plusieurs sommets secondaires parmi lesquels les plus élevés sont le Piz a Spescha , le Piz Cristallina , le Piz Uffiern et la Cima di Camadra .
