La dent d'Hérens est un sommet des Alpes valaisannes, situé à l'ouest du Cervin sur la frontière italo-suisse. La voie la plus courante pour son ascension part du refuge Aoste que l'on atteint du côté italien via le lac de Place-Moulin .
La première ascension remonte au 12 août 1863 par Florence Crauford Grove, William Edward Hall, Montagu Woodmass et Reginald Somerled Macdonald avec Peter Perren, Jean-Pierre Cachat et Melchior Anderegg.
