Le Paléo Festival Nyon, généralement appelé Paléo, est le plus grand festival en plein air de Suisse à Nyon et fait partie des événements musicaux majeurs en Europe. Il dure six jours, six nuits, avec environ 230 000 spectateurs attendus, plus de 230 concerts et spectacles répartis sur six scènes et plus de 200 stands sur le terrain. En 2016, 4 770 collaborateurs bénévoles participent à son élaboration.
Depuis 2000, le Paléo affiche systématiquement complet bien avant l'ouverture des portes, souvent quelques jours, voire quelques heures, après la mise en vente des billets. 1 500 entrées supplémentaires sont cependant vendues le matin-même des concerts sur le site internet du festival.
