À l'origine, il s'agissait d'un pavillon de chasse acheté au milieu du XIXe siècle par le roi de Bavière Maximilien II, le père de Louis. Vous pouvez visiter les jardins. Vous y verrez toutes sortes de constructions comme le Lac des cygnes, la Grotte de Vénus et la Maison marocaine, des endroits où ce roi timide pouvait donner libre cours à son imagination et sa fantaisie.
