L’abbaye d’Altenberg est un ancien couvent prémontré situé entre Solms et Wetzlar, dans la Hesse, en Allemagne. Elle a été fondée vers 1170 et dissoute en 1802. Il avait un lien étroit avec la maison de Nassau, dont plusieurs étaient des nonnes et des abbesses, et certains membres de la famille, dont Otton Ier, comte de Nassau, y ont été enterrés ; c’était aussi un lieu de sépulture pour les comtes de Solms. Les bâtiments ont été gravement endommagés par un incendie en 1952. Celles qui subsistent abritent un centre de réunion pour le doyenné local et depuis 2018 une petite communauté religieuse protestante.
