Winnenden est une ville allemande située dans le Land de Bade-Wurtemberg. Elle est située à 15 km au nord-est de Stuttgart.
Le 11 mars 2009, Tim Kretschmer débarque dans la Realschule Albertville et commence alors une fusillade qui va provoquer la mort de 15 personnes . Le jeune homme, un ancien élève âgé de 17 ans, est ensuite touché par la police et a alors, selon la police, retourné son arme contre lui.
