Le Plattenburg est un château d’eau situé dans la commune indépendante de Plattenburg, dans le district allemand de Prignitz, au nord-ouest du Brandebourg. Il a été documenté pour la première fois en 1319, ce qui en fait le plus ancien château d’eau survivant du nord de l’Allemagne.
Le château de plaine est situé à Prignitz. En raison de sa situation pittoresque dans une région de forêts et de lacs, le château était la résidence d’été des évêques de Havelberg au Moyen Âge.
