Le KZ d'Uelzen a existé dans la ville d'Uelzen en tant que camp annexe du KZ de Neuengamme de février 1945 jusqu'à la fin de la guerre. Jusqu'à 500 détenus ont été employés pour des travaux de nettoyage après des bombardements.
Le camp de concentration d'Uelzen a été créé lorsque la gare marchandises d'Uelzen a été détruite par les bombardements des forces aériennes américaines. 500 détenus du camp principal de Neuengamme ont été transférés à Uelzen dans le premier étage d'un entrepôt à la demande de la Reichsbahn fin février 1945, afin de nettoyer la gare et les installations ferroviaires après les attaques. Le commandant de ce camp situé sur le site d'une sucrerie était Otto Harder, surnommé Tull, un ancien footballeur du HSV.
