Le château de Wölpe est le vestige d'un château médiéval de plaine situé à Erichshagen-Wölpe, un quartier de Nienburg/Weser en Basse-Saxe. Le château, mentionné pour la première fois dans un document en 1151, appartenait aux comtes de Wölpe et a été construit sur la rivière Wölpe sous la forme d'un motte castrale sur une colline de terre artificielle. En raison d'événements guerriers, le complexe du château a été détruit à plusieurs reprises et reconstruit. Après la guerre de Trente Ans, le site a été recréé comme siège administratif du district de Wölpe. Après la dissolution de ce district en 1859, tous les bâtiments ont été démolis en raison de leur état de délabrement. Aujourd'hui, le motte du château est libre de toute construction et recouvert d'arbres. Suite à des opérations de prospection archéologique en 2011, des fouilles ont régulièrement lieu depuis lors.
