La colline 400 est le nom donné par les Américains pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale à une colline de 400 mètres de haut fournissant une vue entière sur la Forêt de Hürtgen . Ce fut une position particulièrement importante pour les Allemands et leur artillerie lors de la bataille de la forêt de Hürtgen, bataille qui se déroula entre septembre 1944 et février 1945. Aujourd'hui, la colline est principalement appelée par son nom allemand civil de Burgberg.
La Forêt de Hürtgen occupe un plateau coupé de vallées escarpées et très boisées. La colline 400 domine la zone à l'extrémité de la crête Brandenberg–Bergstein, juste à proximité de la valléé de la Roer.
