Le Reichsschwefelwerk, également connu dans certains documents sous le nom de S-Fabrik Neckarzimmern ou Es-Fabrik Neckarzimmern, à Haßmersheim, aujourd’hui dans le quartier de Neckar-Odenwald dans le Bade-Wurtemberg, a été construit pendant la Première Guerre mondiale afin d’extraire le soufre nécessaire aux gisements régionaux de gypse pour l’industrie des explosifs et des munitions, qui était importante pour l’effort de guerre. De l’installation, qui a été en grande partie démantelée après la guerre, la plupart du soi-disant Old Malthouse a été préservée jusqu’à ce jour.
