La Eltenberg, également appelée Elterberg ou Eltenerberg, est une colline située près du village frontalier allemand d'Elten. Elten vient d'altum qui signifie haut.
La 'berg' a une hauteur de 82,4 mètres. Depuis les Pays-Bas, cette colline est accessible, entre autres, par un 'point de passage vert' entre Stokkum et Elten. Ce point de passage est un chemin rural qui traverse l'autoroute fédérale 3 et est fermé aux voitures. Entre 1949 et 1963, la Eltenberg a fait partie des Pays-Bas. D'un point de vue géographique, elle fait toujours partie de la région boisée et vallonnée de Montferland.
