Le restaurant Wartberg est situé sur le Wartberg à Heilbronn, à proximité immédiate de la tour Wartberg. Les origines de l’auberge se trouvent vers 1760 dans le bar à vin et à bière du gardien de l’époque. C’est en 1792 que la ville de Heilbronn a fait construire le premier restaurant permanent sur la montagne. Le bâtiment actuel a été construit en 1846 dans le style du classicisme et a reçu son aspect actuel lors d’une reconstruction en 1982/83.
