Le château de Luitpoldshöhe a été construit en 1889 par le prince régent Luitpold de Bavière comme pavillon de chasse dans le Spessart près de Rohrbrunn. Le château est situé dans le quartier d’Aschaffenburg dans une zone qui appartient à la commune de Weibersbrunn, mais forme une enclave dans la zone non incorporée de la forêt de Rohrbrunn. À proximité immédiate se trouve l’aire d’autoroute du Spessart sur l’A 3, le château est visible depuis l’autoroute. Non loin du château dans la forêt se trouve le pavillon de chasse Dianalust.
